Hello!
Well last Sunday was a challenge wasn’t it? At 11:28am, right on cue, our internet modem and router just gave up the ghost and a couple hundred people around the world who had planned to join us online were left with a 3 minute video of the two of us trying to figure out why my computer kept saying “unstable connection” instead of the concert you were promised. Some of you know this already, but we live on a farm in a pretty rural area in Maine and when our internet is out, so is our cellular service so we were plain out of ways to broadcast from home. We finally ventured out with a couple of folding chairs to a remote spot next to the Mousam River and did our level best to play some music for those stalwarts who hung in with us.
This week will be much less dramatic, with any luck. New router, much more stable connection (ehem), and an hour of music to start your Sunday. For those on the west coast, we’ll leave the concert on the website until the end of the day so you don’t have to hurry out of bed. Just catch us when you’re up and have your coffee. Or brunch cocktail.
