““I can’t wait to play in the intimate acoustic style for my old and new friends here. Let’s go deep!” ~ Bob Margolin
In January his newly released acoustic album was nominated for a 2020 Blues Music Award by The Blues Foundation. Bob has some great stories to share about his decades on the road as Muddy Waters’ guitar player. He performed in the original “The Last Waltz” and recently performed in the 40th year anniversary Last Waltz 2019 tour and is scheduled to perform at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival 2020. In February he performed in New York at the B.B. King tribute concert. He tours regularly all over the world, so we are very fortunate to be able to present a repeat performance, BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, “An Acoustic Evening with Bob Margolin and Friends”.
Bob Margolin plays Blues around the world, but he’s our neighbor. Known for band leading and electric guitar playing he learned from his time in Muddy Waters’ band, he’s recorded a new acoustic album. He will play acoustic for the Fiddle & Bow Society accompanied by the talented Tad Walters and Chuck Cotten. Bob has just finished touring with “The Last Waltz 2019” Tour and has already gone to Europe twice since. Bob says, “I can’t wait to play in the intimate acoustic style for my old and new friends here. I’ve been playing here since 1978, and I don’t think I ever did without an electric guitar before. Let’s go deep!
